Nicole Bachmann exhibits in 'The London Open 2022' at Whitechapel Gallery, London, UK, running from 30 June – 4 September 2022.
Bachmann will present a new performance film as a video installation for The London Open 2022 titled 'hovers above the chest'. Filmed in East London’s Hackney Marshes in 2021, it follows three characters - performed by Nandi Bhebhe, Patricia Langa and Cian McConnon - on their erratic journey in the marshes and through the canal.
'The London Open 2022' is Whitechapel Gallery's annual open call exhibition which showcases the work currently being produced in London.
