'GOOD WORK' comprises a sheet of a4 paper hand-printed using a rubber-stamp kit, created by Etchells to render the phrase ‘Good Work’. Lying somewhere between a blunt vain self-description, and a puzzling judgement on the paper or installed situation of the art work, the edition typifies the artist's approach to language, in which simple fragments out of context become intensely generative and an ambiguous object of reflection.
