Alexander Page (b. UK) is an artist based in London. VITRINE exhibited Page in the 203 two-person exhibition ‘A Dense Glitter of Alternatives’.
Alexander Page describes his work as ‘a photographic engagement with memory and landscape’. Using a wide range of image making strategies he creates photographic series that address urban space, surface, poetry and the personal geography of the city. These works also seek to self-reflexively engage in a discourse around the limits of the photographic act and the surface of the photographic print; An interplay between restraint, the creation of formally beautiful photographic compositions and a freer romantic and nostalgic release.
